Trip info for Mobile and Dauphin Island charter fishing

Mardi Gras Special: 

Our Mardi Gras fishing trip special was a big hit in 2023, so we are offering it again in 2024.   Speckled trout are thick in the tidal rivers. Redfish in the slot size are loaded up in the marsh, while bulls and a variety of other species can be caught at the mouth of Mobile Bay. It's a great time of the year to fish especially when you can save $250.00 off of our regularly priced trip.    Trips taken between January 1 through March 15, 2024 are only  $450 for 1-3 people, 4-5 hours, and include everything except your food and drinks.  We hope you'll come and enjoy throwing and catching things with us this winter!

Standard Trip:

A standard trip is $700.00 for 1-3 people, $150.00 for each additional. We strongly recommend crews of 3 or less.  Our Dauphin Island fishing guides prefer to leave the doc at or around safe light and fish until someone says “uncle”. Generally after about 8 hours everyone, especially the guide, has had enough; however, we’ll fish until they stop biting if you desire!

Your trip includes ice, bait, fishing tackle, fishing license and fish cleaning.

You’ll need to bring your food and drinks. The boats have large ice chests, but you can bring a small cooler if you’d like. We also recommend sunscreen and a camera. If you plan to take fish home, you may want to bring a small cooler. We supply your rods and reels, but if you have a favorite or two feel free to bring them along, too.  

Our target species are Speckled Trout and Redfish, but you are apt to catch Flounder, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Blackfish, or maybe even a Tarpon!   

The Mobile Bay fishery is an incredible, yet fragile natural resource. To protect this fishery and ensure incredible fishing trips for future generations, we strongly encourage catch and release of all species. We release all redfish caught and each guest may keep up to 5 speckled trout.  

The boats are fast and dry Skeeter boats.  Captain Bobby Abruscato runs the Skeeter, powered by dependable Yamaha outboards and Minn Kota trolling motors. We exclusively use Abu-Garcia and Penn reels- casting and spinning, Berkley and Fenwick rods and Berkley line and baits.
